Singing Summer School at Rosehill

summersing[J]oin us this 2nd-4th August for Rosehill’s summer school for young voices.

Summer Sing! is an intensive three days of music making and fun, taking place at Rosehill Theatre near Whitehaven.

Attendees aged 7-11 years will work with singers and conductors to form a new children’s choir which will perform a concert on the Friday afternoon.

Led by Robbie Jacobs, Conductor for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and the London Youth Choir, as well as Rosehill’s Associate Director for Singing, the summer school includes rehearsal, musicianship activities and singing games as well as other completely non-musical fun!

If your youngsters love to sing, this is a great opportunity for them to explore their ability, learn from the best and meet other young singers too.

The school runs from 9.45am to 3.45pm on Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th August, with the FREE concert at 2pm Friday.

Places are £40 per attendee, who should bring with them a packed lunch and drinks for the day.
