[A] Carlisle man will appear at court following a proactive stop by officers that resulted in half a kilo of heroin being seized.
Lee Kerr, aged 30, of Warnell Drive, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug – heroin.
This action followed a proactive stop of a vehicle in the Harraby area late on the 7th February.
Kerr is scheduled to appear before North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court today (9th February).
A 55-year-old man, also from Carlisle, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug – heroin, he has been released under investigation.
