[P]olice are investigating a fail-to-stop road traffic collision in which a pedestrian has been hit and injured by a car that has then driven off.
The collision occurred at about 8pm on Saturday 4th August on Princess Street in Barrow.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 29-year-old man from Barrow received injuries to the leg and back as a result of the incident.
“Police are requesting any information in relation to witnesses or from anybody who may have been asked to repair damage to the nearside wing or wing mirror of a small silver or grey car, similar to an old shape Peugeot 106.”
