Penrith Players finishes its 2018 season with a return to the successful Blackadder shows with Blackadder Goes Forth Again. It is a commemoration of the centenary of the end of World War 1.
The play contains all the characters people have got to love from the TV series. It includes three of the episodes, written by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton.
Director, Nik Shaw, said: “This was a real hit when we did it in 2014 and I have a great cast to do the play credit. The characters are wonderful and we have had a lot of fun with it during rehearsals. We know that anyone who comes to see it will have the same fun.”
The play runs from Thursday 29 November until Saturday 1 December and Thursday 6 until Saturday 8 December at 7.30 at the Playhouse.
Tickets are available at www.penrithplayers.org.uk, on their Facebook page or from Penrith TIC, telephone 01768 867466 at £9, £8 concessions and £5 for students.
