A MAN will be sentenced next month after he admitted assaulting a woman in Penrith and damaging property belonging to her.
Andrzej Fijalkowski, 37, faced a number of charges today (FRI) when he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court.
Fijalkowski pleaded guilty to assaulting Kristie Robertson, by beating, on February 2. He also admitted damaging a BMW belonging to her, and also a plasterboard wall, ornaments and pots.
Fijalkowski had also admitted damaging a window belonging to Eden Housing Association on the same date, and breaching a restraining order by getting in touch with another individual he been prohibited from contacting.
His lawyer, Mark Shepherd, said a specialist report prepared by the probation service would be “helpful” before Fijalkowski received his punishment.
Judge Peter Davies adjourned the case for that take place. Fijalkowski, of Currock Road, Carlisle, is due to be sentenced for his offending at the crown court on April 5.
In the meantime, he has been remanded in custody.
