Police are warning businesses to be vigilant following reports of forged £20 notes being passed in the Barrow area.
Businesses have been targeted indiscriminately from shops and barbers across Barrow with one used in the area of Marsh Street.
A 20-year-old man from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of
- Fraud by false representation
- Possession of a class A drug
- Production of counterfeit notes
- Possession with intent to supply a Class A drug
And released under investigation.
