Detectives investigating a suspected attempted murder say inquiries are ongoing and that no charges have been made.
Police arrested three people after an incident at about 11.25pm on February 7 on St Ninians Road in Carlisle.
Two local men, aged 31 and 27, were injured.
The 31-year-old man suffered stab wounds. The 27-year-old suffered serious injuries not believed to be life-changing.
Both men were taken to hospital.
A 27-year-old man, a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, all local, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Two men, both 25, from Carlisle, were later arrested.
No one has been charged in the investigation.
