Detectives investigating a suspected assault say inquiries are ongoing and that no charges have been made.
A 13-year-old was airlifted to hospital with suspected stab wounds following an alleged assault by two other teenagers on February 20.
Police were called by the ambulance service at about 2.50pm to Jarrow Street in Barrow.
A 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the incident and have since been released.
