An application to build 40 new homes in Eden has been given the green light by council planners.
Approval was rubber-stamped by Eden District Council planners today for the development at Greystoke near Penrith.
The Story Homes development, named ‘Greystoke Fields’, will deliver 40 new homes to the area, which will include a variety of three, four and five-bedroom properties.
Development Planner, Paul Fenton, said: “We are delighted that the Eden District Council’s Planning Committee has granted approval for our proposals to build 40 new homes on Land East of The Thorpe in Greystoke, Penrith.
“Our development will support existing local businesses and help create additional employment through new opportunities for local sub-contractors and the supply chain. We look forward to bringing our high-quality homes to the area.”
Story Homes anticipate that work will start on-site this summer with the first homes due to be completed in spring 2022.
