A high-flying law student has landed a job as a trainee solicitor with Baines Wilson.
The law firm specialising in the provision of commercial legal services to the business community, continues to attract the next generation of talent with the appointment of Daniel Hails.
Daniel, who lives in Carlisle, grew up near Durham and completed his masters in law at Northumbria University, graduating with first class honours and also an honours roll after achieving grades in the top 10 per cent of his year.
Daniel, who’s a keen walker, golfer and mountaineer, said: “I’ve always been a country-bound person so being near the Lake District was the way forward.
“The specialisms of Baines Wilson and their engaging approach made them the perfect choice for me and I’m delighted to join the team. I’m looking forward to the exciting challenges ahead and to my future with the firm.”
Sean Logue, head of partnership and Baines Wilson’s training principal, said: “We are delighted to have Daniel join the team. Our trainees are the future of the firm and our ongoing support to our local business community.
“While the current economic climate remains challenging, this is our long-term strategy and we are committed to training the next generation.”
