Cleator Moor Celtic will play their first two games of the North West Counties League season away from home.

Celtic, who won 5-4 to Millom in a pre-season friendly at the weekend, open the campaign on July 31 at Bacup Borough.

The fixtures, just released, reveal a second away trip on August 7 to AFC Blackpool before the opening home game on July 14 to St. Helens Town.

They go to Campion on Tuesday, August 17 and will be breaking new ground as the Bradford cluby have just been moved to the North Division through FA reorganisation.

Celtic can then prepare for an attractive home game with the re-formed Bury AFC on Saturday, August 21.

A trip to Golcar follows on August 28 while the Bank Holiday fixture on August 30 gives them a Cumbrian derby at home to Holker Old Boys.

Further fixtures will be issued at a later date.

Before the season officially starts, Celtic have organised three attractive home friendlies.

They will host Crook Town (Saturday,July 10), Kendal Town (Saturday, July 17) and Windscale (Wednesday, July 22).
