
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault and theft from a fruit machine at services on the M6.
The incident happened at about 1.45pm yesterday (September 18) and involved two men at the Killington services.
Cash was stolen from a fruit machine and a member of staff was then assaulted.
There were no reported injuries.
The first man was described as a white man, about 6ft 2in, who was clean shaven with short, black hair and of slim build.
He was wearing a grey North Face jumper and grey tracksuit bottoms. He was said to speak with a Liverpool accent and was in his late 20s or early 30s.
The second man was described as white, with a bald head and wearing all-black clothes.
