A hospitality industry veteran who has guided venues through foot-and-mouth, storms and now the COVID-19 pandemic has launched a mentoring programme to help others get back on their feet.

Alison Magee-Barker, who runs AJ Lakes Consultancy and AJ Lakes Training Academy, said: “The launch of this programme has certainly been a long time in the making!

“My passion is supporting and helping people in business, especially in the hospitality sector, and with this mentoring programme, not only can clients pick my brain in one-to-one sessions but I am also giving them full access to tools, templates and bite size learning guides that are the culmination of over 30 years in the industry!

“I am putting everything I have and everything I have learned into this and I am confident that those who join me will reap the rewards very quickly.

“I’ve had the pleasure of turning around businesses set to close their doors for the final time to nurturing clients looking to transform or expand their offering and everything in between; and I can’t wait to pledge my support through bespoke mentoring plans to everyone who joins me on the programme.”
