A Carlisle man has been arrested following a police investigation into the supply of drugs in the city.
The 35-year-old was arrested in the Greystone Road area on suspicion of conspiring to supply class C drugs yesterday.
It is not known what type of drugs are involved but class C includes benzodiazepines, steroids and subutex.
He was later released under investigation.
Officers would always advise people to be aware of risks involved in taking any substances.
Police said their officers work with partner agencies all-year-round to deal with the issue of drugs in the community and pointed out support was available.
