Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster has announced it will hold its 2022 business awards on May 26.
Dianne Richardson, chief executive of the organisation, said: “After two long years of hard work and adjusting to the new normal brought on by the pandemic, our members will be able to take stock and time out to celebrate their successes.
“BECBC truly is a community and while our members will be competing for these prestigious awards, they will also want to come together to celebrate each other.
“I, for one, cannot wait to see the nominations and am really looking forward to the awards evening!”
There are 11 categories and this year, for the first time, the awards include two sustainability awards – one for environmental and one for social value.
The event sponsor is Sellafield Ltd.
A spokesman said: “Sellafield Ltd is once again proud to be associated with the BECBC Awards, which showcase local and national organisations – many of which operate within our own supply chain.
“These awards are a great opportunity for companies to strive for continuous improvement, share learning and demonstrate the entrepreneurial ambitions in the region. We are delighted to be part of this exciting event.”
