A man from Whitehaven has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker and criminal damage following an incident in the town.
The incident happened on High Road.
Kieran Ruddy, 27, of the Oval, Whitehaven has been charged with two counts of criminal damage, two counts of common assault of an emergency worker and obstructing a constable in execution of duty.
He is due to appear at magistrates court on January 19.
