Prime Minister Boris Johnson has visited Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary’s £35 million Northern Centre for Cancer this afternoon.
It was part of a tour of the North of England and Scotland.
He spoke to every patient in the centre and was shown around the building, which opened late last year.
