
Barrow have announced the players who will be leaving the club after the competition of the 2021/22 season.
Tom Beadling, Mike Jones, Kgosi Ntlhe, Dimitri Sea and George Williams have been released at the end of their contracts.
Beadling, 26, a midfielder, who has spent two seasons with the Bluebirds had played 41 games and scored two goals.
Barrow-born, but a player who spent time in Australia before joining Sunderland’s Academy he had then spent time in Scotland with Dunfermline where he made 51 senior appearances.
Jones, an experienced midfielder, with 470 League appearances before joining Barrow in 2020 has been plagued by injuries this season which has limited him to just 16 games in two years.
The 34-year-old had clocked-up 145 games for Bury, 132 for Carlisle and also topped 80 appearances for Crawley and Oldham.
Ntlhe, a 28-year-old South African international was another who struggled with injuries and in two years played only 27 times. He had previously played for Peterborough, Stevenage, Rochdale and Scunthorpe.
French forward Sea was another whose time at Barrow was disrupted by absences and he played 18 times in two years with one goal to show for it. He had previously been in the youth set-up at Aston Villa.
Williams, 26, capped seven times by Wales at senior level, only joined Barrow in the season just ended and played 18 times.
Barrow say they have offered new contracts to James Jones and Scott Moloney and remain in negotiations with them.
Defender Jones has played 46 times for Barrow in the last two seasons after joining from Altrincham.
Goalkeeper Moloney was signed in September 2020 and has not played a League game for the Bluebirds, spending time out on loan at South Shields and Guiseley.
A new contract was also offered to Matt Platt, but terms could not be agreed.
Four players who spent time on loan with Barrow over the second half of the season have now returned to their parent clubs – Aaron Amadi-Holloway (Burton Albion), Anthony Glennon (Burnley), Will Harris (Sunderland) and Jacob Wakeling (Leicester City).
