
Cumbria start their County Championship programme at Under-17s level with a trip to Durham.
The game at the Billingham club will be the first of three fixtures at this level for Cumbria who have named 22 players for this opening contest.
Coach Garry Holmes has already told his players there will have to be changes for the next game against Northumberland.
He said: “We have picked a squad for Sunday but some players are unavailable for the other games and if anyone is not in the squad this week we don’t want them to be disheartened as we know we will be making changes for the Northumberland game.
“We do think we are quite strong at this age group for this season and hope that’s reflected in the games.”
The squad for Sunday is:

The Northumberland game will be played at Penrith on Sunday, May 22 and the series ends at Vale of Lune against Lancashire on Sunday, May 29.
