A trio of osprey chicks have hatched at Foulshaw Moss nature reserve near Witherslack, south Cumbria.
It is the ninth year in a row for the county’s most successful breeding osprey parents to have chicks.
The first hatched on May 20, the second on May 22 and the third on May 25.
The parent ospreys, called blue 35 and white YW, raised and fledged three chicks last year and returned to Foulshaw Moss at the end of March.
Cumbria Wildlife Trust thanked its faithful ‘osprey watchers’ for keeping a close eye on the osprey webcam.
This season there is also a new 180-degree interactive camera, allowing people to choose their view around the nest.
In June, webcam viewers will be able to watch the parents bringing the chicks food and the next milestone will be when the chicks are tagged in July.
