Barrow’s BAE Systems is planning to test its site warning siren this afternoon.
The routine testing of the siren is planned to take place at about 4pm today, Wednesday, June 1.
A spokesman said: “The alarms may be audible from outside the site, but there is no need for anyone to take any action.”
