Seaton Rangers were convincing 48-16 winners in their all-county clash with Millom in NCL Division Three.
Yet approaching half-time it was Millom who held the initiative with a 16-12 lead.
From that point Seaton took charge, a converted try giving them a two-point lead at half-time which they built-on impressively in the second period.
Millom had built their lead with tries by Hadley Thompson, Jack Proctor and Jonathan Hodgson, two of which were converted by Lee Postlethwaite.

But from the moment JJ Key crashed over to pull Seaton level and Dom Smallwood’s conversion gave them the lead, the hosts never looked back.
Aaron Postlethwaite (2), Jordan Symes (2), Billy Southward, Jon-Carl Bryan and Richard Nicholson scored the other tries and Smallwood ended-up with eight goals.
Seaton are now very much involved in a three-way battle for runners-up spot and on Saturday travel to one of those rivals, Waterhead Warriors.
Champions-elect in Division Three are East Leeds with only one defeat in 15 games and 704 points scored.
They represented a tough test for struggling Hensingham (just two wins in 14 games) but the Cumbrians battled well in a 24-4 defeat.
They had lost 96-0 in Yorkshire earlier in the season so this was a much improved performance on home soil.
Indeed at the hour mark it was only 10-4 with Jake Rothery scoring Hensingham’s unconverted try.

Two tries in the last six minutes made it a bit more comfortable for East Leeds, the second after Hensingham’s Gavin Maudling had been sin-binned for dissent.
In Division Two Barrow Island’s challenge for the title has faltered in recent weeks as they trail Heworth by five points.
They got back to winning ways, but it was a topsy-turvy game with Woolston before they sealed the points at 34-30.
After 15 minutes the Islanders were 16-0 to the good with Heworth still on the bus.
Early in the second half the gap was still the same at 28-12 but fast forward to the last five minutes and the visitors had moved into a 30-28 lead.
Just when it seemed the home side were going down to a third successive defeat Blain Marwood, the former Workington Town youngster nipped in for his hat-trick try on 77 minutes. Max Anderson-Moore converted.
Marwood had earlier landed four conversions while there were other tries by Aidan Wright, Sam Jones and Adam Ford.
In the Premier Division Wath Brow Hornets and Egremont Rangers did not play, having brought their derby forward earlier in the season.
Kells were also without a fixture but lying second in Division One face a big clash with leaders Hull Dockers on Saturday.
