Firefighters were called to a derelict building in Walney yesterday.
A sofa in the property, on Central Drive, was in fire when they arrived at around 4.30pm.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and breaking in tools. Crews were detained for about an hour and 15 minutes.
