
Kells Under-12s clinched the West Cumbria’s Youth League for their age group when they beat Wath Brow 30-0 last night.
Louis Nightingale gave the home side the lead after only five minutes and Rhys Williamson added the conversion.
Harry Vaughan got over for the second try and just before half-time Williamson cross for the third touchdown and added the conversion for a 16-0 lead at the break.
Wath Brow were battling hard to stay in the contest but a Kells try two minutes after the restart by Archie Robinson, converted by Williamson, tipped the game their way.
Sam Graffin scored the fifth Kells try after 25 minutes and in the very last minute he crossed for his second.
