Workington’s FA Trophy tie with Runcorn Linnets has been rearranged for Tuesday night.
The game, along with the rest of football at all levels, has been postponed today in respect for the death of Her Majesty the Queen.
Reds should have been at home on Tuesday in any case with an NPL West game against Skelmersdale.
That will now be played at a later date and could be mid-week as Reds don’t have any other non-Saturday games scheduled.
Reds recorded their first away win of the season on Tuesday at Ramsbottom when two or three players picked up minor knocks.
Given the fact there is no game tomorrow the extra rest should ensure they are available for selection on Tuesday.
At the moment Reds have three long-term injuries in Bobby Carroll (ankle), Ben Hughes (back) and Greg McCarragher (foot).
Goalkeeper Danny Eccles still has a game to serve on his three-match suspension following his red card near the end of the 3-2 League defeat at Witton a fortnight ago.
