For the second week in a row Ellenborough met Wath Brow in a major final and for the second time came out on top.
A week earlier Elbra had lifted the EB Amateur Cup with a 20-12 win, and this time with the Mitie Cumberland Cup on the line they had more in hand as they beat the Hornets 38-12.

Jonny Goulding, Louis Fearon and Kevin Hoban all got in for first-half tries which were improved by Owen Hoyles.
The Hornets gave themselves a chance when Brad White scored a try on the restart which Jenson Olstrum converted. But Ellenborough pulled away again to lead 32-6 with tries from Keenan Winter, Matthew Bell and Jonty Hill, one of whjich was improved by Hoyles.
Wath Brow rallied again with a Jamie McAllister try, converted by Olstrum but Ellenborough had the final word with a seventh try scored by Niall Gray which Hoyles improved.
Ellenborough’s hard-working forward John Todd was selected as the MITIE man of the match. It completed a double for Elbra – winning the last two finals of the season – while finishing runners-up to Distington in the League and also in the Top Four Play-off final.
Kenny Millican, who took on the role of secretary when Lorraine Degraffe suffered a broken leg over the second-half of the season, has been in hospital recently and is now recovering at home.
All of the Cumberland ARL wish him a speedy recovery after he stood in heroically during a particularly difficult part of the season.
