The wet weather at the weekend put paid to the vast majority of the Workington Sunday League fixtures.
One of the victims was the game at Wakefield Road between Deer Orchard and Rangers FC.
It was due to be a bit special with several former players lined up to attend to help celebrate the club’s 60th anniversary.
The club, formed for the 1962/63 season in the Junior Derwent Valley League, will now look to hold a special reunion at a game later in the season.
However one of the founder members, Tom Allen, had travelled from down country for the occasion and had put together a special collage for the club.

Various teams from the last 60 years are featured as well as Jimmy Robinson, the man whose experience, know how and dedication helped run the club for many of those 60 years.
So before returning home later this week Tom met up with another founder member John Walsh to present current secretary and former player Gary Horsley with the collage.
Where else to meet but Wakefield Road? Orchard’s home for over 50 of their years in the game and where the hand-over took place.
