Appeal for information after Carlisle hit-and-run

People are urged to come forward with information after a collision in Carlisle which saw one of the drivers leave the scene immediately.

The incident happened yesterday, November 8, at around 5pm on the A689 at the Kingmoor West roundabout, locally known as the Cargo roundabout.

It involved a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a silver BMW 5 series. Nobody was injured.

The male driver of the BMW left the area before police arrived at the scene.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who has dashcam of the area of the collision, between 4.45pm and 5.15pm.

There were also reports of a black BMW acting suspiciously in the area of the collision.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage of the black BMW or may have seen it in the area.
