Two Cumbrian holiday parks have been named among the best in the UK by the AA.
The AA Caravan and Camping Awards celebrate the UK’s most luxurious venues and Green Acres Caravan Park in Houghton, near Carlisle and Stanwix Park Holiday Centre in Silloth have won accolades.
All winners will feature in the 55th edition of the AA Caravan & Camping Guide. All the destinations featured in the guide have been inspected and rated by AA professional inspectors, grading sites from one to five Pennants
Green Acres, an adults only park, was named the AA Campsite of the Year for the North West. An AA inspector said: “Expect good hospitality and superb landscaping at this rural, adults-only park.”
Stanwix Holiday Park was named AA Holiday Park of the Year.
An AA Inspector said Stanwix Park was a “long-established holiday park with all-weather attractions and facilities”.
