
A new partner has joined the leadership team of top Cumbrian law firm Bendles.
Moira Mortimer has been promoted to the role, three years after becoming an associate.
Ms Mortimer gained her law degree in 1979 and qualified as a chartered legal executive in 1992. She joined Bendles in 2009.
She works within the litigation department dealing mostly with personal injury, debt recovery and employment matters.
She said: “I am very pleased to join the partnership at Bendles and to have an opportunity to help shape the future strategic development of the business. This is an exciting time for Bendles as it continues to grow. To be part of that development is very fulfilling.”
Jonty Hanlon, a partner, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Moira to the partnership. She is already making an important contribution to the progression and growth of the business, particularly with her role of career development for the trainees.”
