Hours: full time (37 hours/week) term-time + 1 week holiday allowance = a total of 44.6 weeks/year
Salary: Grade 5. Actual salary: £18,842/year (full-time Grade 5 salary is £21,968)
This is an exciting opportunity if you have experience working with young people or are interested in a teaching career but would first like to gain valuable experience in the classroom.
The successful candidate will supervise classes while their teacher is absent, following the instructions left by the class teacher to facilitate high-quality learning.
You should hold at least 5 higher-grade (grade C and above) GCSE passes, or equivalent qualifications, including English and mathematics and be passionate about motivating every student to work hard to reach their potential.
