Workington Reds might be Googled a few times in France after a supporters’ club flag was perfectly captured on a shot of Olivier Giroud’s winning goal against England.
Although, just the angle of the picture might see them trying Orkington Reds before they reach their intended target.
A number of Workington fans have been out in Qatar for the World Cup and this particular group appear to have been there from the start.
The flags have been spotted from England’s first game out there, although certainly six Reds fans were only there for the opening two fixtures.
John Roe from Workington and Stephen Baxter, a Workington exile from London, have been identified as the Reds supporters who have been out there from the start.
Giroud just happened to celebrate in front of the Reds flag and the picture has appeared in countless media outlets and social platforms since then.
It has been seen almost 400,000 times on Giroud’s own social media feeds too.
Doubtless it will get more airings in the coming months, and who knows some French tourists might just look up Workington Reds – even if they start with Orkington Reds!
