A stone was dropped onto a vehicle from an overpass in Carlisle.
Police are investigating the incident, which happened on Thursday between 8.40pm and 8.55pm on Eastern Way or Durranhill Road
The stone damaged a windscreen.
Police are appealing to anyone who was on Eastern Way or Durranhill Road at this time, including anyone who may have dash cam footage.
