Cumbrian festival Kendal Calling has completely sold out – but there is still a chance for music fans to get their hands on the very last tickets.
Organisers said tickets flew out in record time for the event at Lowther Deer Park in Eden, which takes place from July 27 to July 30.
But festival-goers do have the chance to get some extra special tickets if they enter a raffle.
The raffle will raise funds for James’ Place, and Papyrus UK and 10 pairs of tickets are up for grabs.
All winning pairs of tickets offer VIP access to Kendal Calling with two of those pairs offering an extra special treat of side stage access to watch an act of the winner’s choice.
Acts performing this year include the Lottery Winners – currently number one in the charts – Nile Rodgers & Chic, Kasbian, Kaiser Chiefs, Scouting for Girls, Rick Astley, Melanie C and Natalie Imbruglia.
All money raised will be divided equally between James’ Place, a charity that provides therapy for men in suicidal crisis, and Papyrus UK, a charity dedicated to preventing young suicide.
Andy Smith, founder of Kendal Calling, said, “We’re thrilled to announce this final chance for music fans to join us at the sold-out Kendal Calling through our raffle benefiting James’ Place and Papyrus UK. These organisations do incredibly important work, and we’re keen to support them in any way we can. To all those joining us this year – we can’t wait to see you in the fields and share an unforgettable weekend together!”
