Workington RNLI’s volunteer crew were called out to help a broken down fishing boat off the West Cumbrian coast.
Workington RNLI launched its inshore rescue boat, the John F Mortimer, at 5.45pm today, Saturday June 10, after reports that the 19ft day fishing boat had got into difficulty.
The inshore rescue boat towed the vessel into port and was ready for service by 6.50pm.
