
A Barrow resident was awakened by a burglar who broke into their home and stole gold coins and a wallet.
Police have released CCTV footage as part of the investigation into the burglary on Adelaide Street, which happened between 4am and 5.30am on May 24.
The burglar entered the home three times – and woke the householder up on their third visit when they went into their bedroom.
They left in the direction of Chatsworth Street.
Gold coins and collectible coins were taken during the incident as well as a wallet.
Detectives want to identify the person in the footage to help with their investigations and officers are also keen to speak to anyone who was in the area of Adelaide Street during this time, or residents with CCTV and doorbell footage.
Anyone driving in the area at the time who may have dashcam is also urged to get in touch.
