The Cumbria League’s Premier Division programme was wiped out for the second week in a row.
The weather forecast had suggested it would be another blank day and it proved accurate although all six games did make a start.
As last week Cockermouth got furthest into the contest in their trip to Wigton and actually completed 45 overs before the rain came.
In that time Cockermouth had made 154-5 with Alex Grainger (42), Sameera Sadamal (41no) and Gareth White (23).
In a good 10 overs spell John Reed took 4-20 for Wigton.
The rain was clearly spreading north as matches at Haverigg, Millom and Lindal Moor did not last long.
Keswick were 9-0 off 3.4 overs at Haverigg; Whitehaven were 16-1 off 6.1 at Millom and Carlisle were 58-1 from 13.3 at Lindal Moor.
Up to Egremont and the match at Workington had seen 21.2 overs in which the home side had reached 54-3. At the time overseas amateur Davis Mills had figures of 5.2-2-4-2.
Finally at Cleator the League leaders Furness had made 55-3 after an opening stand of 54 between Yash Dubey (30) and Lewis Gribbin (22no).
