Omari Patrick, one of the players who rejected new terms with Carlisle United, has a new club.
The 27-year-old, who scored 21 goals in 109 appearances for Carlisle during two spells with the club, has joined League Two Sutton Utd.
He will be fondly remembered by the Carlisle faithful for scoring the equaliser during the end of season play-off final with Stockport County at Wembley.
Paul Simpson’s men went on to beat Stockport on penalties and sealed promotion to League One.
Slough-born Patrick signed his first professional contract with Kidderminster Harriers in 2015 and signed for his first EFL club with Barnsley, before moving to Bradford City where he made his Football League debut.
He first joined Carlisle in 2020 after loans spells at Yeovil and Wrexham but after a season linked up with Burton Albion where he was limited to just seven League appearance.
His return to Carlisle seemed to have rejuvenated his career and it was something of a surprise when he turned down a new deal.
