Emergency services were called to a park in West Cumbria after reports of an incident.
Two fire engines, police and an ambulance were spotted at Crow Park in Maryport yesterday evening, Saturday, September 16.
There were reports of a man in the river near Ellen Bridge.
The report came in shortly before 7pm and the man was out of the water by about 7.15pm.
He was left in the care of the ambulance service.
