Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault outside a Carlisle nightclub.
The incident happened outside Truth nightclub in Botchergate at around 4.10am on January 1.
The victim – a 33-year-old man – suffered facial injuries, including a broken orbital bone.
Police said they were looking for any information or witnesses to help identify the suspect.
