Kendal Town have quickly rearranged their postponed game with Wythenshawe.
The original match was called off on Tuesday because of a waterlogged pitch.
They will try again for Tuesday, March 19 with an 8pm kick-off – and by then the Mintcakes hope to be firmly back in the promotion hunt.
It’s been a disappointing January, and so far February hasn’t been any better as they have slipped to seventh in the North West Counties League table.
Meanwhile there’s a change for Kendal’s Ladies team. Their game away at Morecambe this weekend has been reversed so they will now be at home on Sunday (kick-off 2pm).
The Kendal Ladies go into the game in good heart after narrowly going under to unbeaten League leaders Chipping last Sunday.
They had been 4-1 down but came back to 4-3 and then had an equalising goal disallowed.
