The A66 in Workington was partially blocked following a collision this morning.
Ramsay Brow was blocked in both directions and there was queueing traffic after the incident on Bridge Street.
Reports are that traffic was backed up to Seaton.
The incident was cleared at around 9.30am and traffic queues are easing.
