
The 184th Cumberland Show took place at Warwick-on-Eden and as always there was a wide range of things to see and do, writes Paul Grindley.
Taking place yesterday, Saturday June 8, you could buy anything from a giant tractor to a bag of pick and mix, there were classes for sheep, cattle, horses, and crafts (Home Industries) along with all sorts of entertainment from the Paul Swift Stunt driving team to sheep dog and hound demonstrations, Cumberland and Westmoreland Wrestling and much much more besides.
The weather was good for most of the day, although the heavens did open about 2pm with everyone running for shelter as a heavy shower passed over.
