A mobile phone mast in West Cumbria which wasn’t working has been repaired.
It was reported that the mobile phone mast covering Egremont and the surrounding area was experiencing issues yesterday – networks O2, Vodafone, Tesco and GiffGaff were understood to be affected.
Last night, Vodafone said it had identified the issue and has asked a specialist engineer to investigate.
It said this morning that it had fixed the problem with the network and everything should be up and running again as normal.
