Changes to Barrow Raiders squad ahead of weekend

Head coach Paul Crarey has made five changes to his 21-man Barrow Raiders squad ahead of Saturday’s home fixture.

New signing Greg Worthington is in contention to feature, having rejoined the club on a deal until the end of the season.

Max Anderson-Moore, Greg Burke, Jacob Douglas and Harvey Makin also come into the mix, with Max Clarke, Delaine Gittens-Bedward, Finn McMillan, Mike Ogunwole and Brad Walker making way.

It is sure to be a hotly-contested fixture between two sides currently separated by just two points in the Championship table, and with ambitions of climbing the division.

Crucial Championship points will be on the line and it’s part of an action-packed extravaganza of rugby which will see the club celebrate its latest Inclusivity Day.

The full schedule for Saturday is:

  • 10.30am: Barrow and District Ladies vs Workington
  • 1.30pm: Barrow Ladies vs Wigan Warriors
  • 330pm: Touch rugby festival
  • 6pm: Barrow Raiders vs Halifax Panthers

The Barrow squad is: Max Anderson-Moore, Luke Broadbent, Andrew Bulman, Greg Burke, Brett Carter, Matt Costello, Luke Cresswell, Jacob Douglas, Ellis Gillam, James Greenwood, Adam Jackson, Ryan Johnston, Harvey Makin, Ryan Shaw, Razor Silva, Jarrad Stack, Shane Toal, Tom Walker, Tom Wilkinson, Josh Wood, Greg Worthington.

Halifax head coach Liam Finn has named his 21-man squad with Clement Boyer and Charlie Graham in line for Panthers debuts. Ben Kavanagh returns from injury with Corey Johnson and Leon Ruan dropping out .

The squad is: Ed Barber, Clement Boyer, Connor Davies, Jacob Fairbank, Matty Gee, Charlie Graham, Ben Hursey, Louis Jouffret, Ben Kavanagh, Joe Keyes, Ryan Lannon, Kevin Larroyer, Zack McComb, Ned McCormack, Adam O’Brien, Mathieu Pons, James Saltonstall, Adam Tangata, Ben Tibbs, Gareth Widdop, James Woodburn-Hall.
