Striker Anton Dudik has signed a new one-year contract with Carlisle United.
Dudik, 19, signed a short-term deal at the club in January after impressing on trial and made two first team appearances off the bench.
He also scored three goals in seven appearances for Mark Birch’s youth team.
He has previously represented Volyn Lutsk and Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine and Slask Wroclaw in Poland before he made the move to England.
Manager Paul Simpson said: “We’re pleased Anton has agreed to stay with us. He will start pre-season training with us then we’ll look at the potential of a loan move to get him some regular first-team football.
“He’s now too old to play in our youth team as an over-aged player, but he’s someone we think will continue to develop and we’re excited to see how that goes over the next 12 months.”
