A summer art exhibition is being hosted by the newly opened Shipping Brow Gallery in Maryport.
Artists, makers, jewellers and ceramicists from the Carlisle Contemporary Art group are showcasing work over the summer, including pieces specially created to depict the picturesque port town.
And guest painter Keith Bartley, nephew of famous North East mining artist Norman Cornish, has exclusive work on show.
An opening night launched the exhibition last week.
CCA members exhibiting are Anne Bryson, Craig Hamilton, Mark Hamilton, David Hollins, David Lush, Amanda Mudge and Ray Pearson.

Carlisle Contemporary Arts was founded in 2018, when the group opened a co-operative gallery in the Old Fire Station in Carlisle.
It ran a gallery until COVID forced its closure in 2020.
Since then, the group have continued as an arts co-operative, holding exhibitions in many venues in Carlisle and its surrounding areas.
The Shipping Brow Gallery is home to a permanent collection of Cumbrian artist Percy Kelly and William Mitchell’s work and the gallery’s first artist in residence is Felix Butterwick.
