A couple were sprayed with water and subjected to racial slurs by two teenage girls in Carlisle.
The incident happened on Wednesday June 12 at around 6.30pm on English Street, outside Primark.
It is also being investigated as a hate incident.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the assault to contact them.
