Carlisle United face a long trip to Kent when they open the new 2024/25 Sky Bet League Two season at Gillingham on August 10.
A week later their first home game will be the county derby with Barrow, who are under new management with Steven Clemence.
There are no mid-week League Two games in August but the first round of the Carabao Cup will be played in the first week of the season with the draw being made tomorrow.
The Blues will complete the month with another long trip to MK Dons before entertaining Tranmere.
Fans always like to see the Christmas/New Year fixtures and United will have two home games over the festivities as they will be at home to Morecambe on Boxing Day and to Accrington Stanley on Sunday, December 29.
They travel on New Year’s Day, though, to Crewe Alexandra and at Easter on Good Friday (April 18) they host Port Vale, one of the sides who were relegated with them while on Easter Monday it’s the return away game with Accrington.
With Easter completed there are only two League games left to play – away to Cheltenham (another who joined them in League Two) on April 26 and the final match of the season at home to Salford City.
The Cumbrians will host last season’s National champions Chesterfield on December 14 and will be at home to the other promoted side, Bromley, on March 22.
The return derby game at Barrow is scheduled for Saturday, March 1.
