The former captain of Whitehaven’s RL team will appear in court next month, accused of sexual assault.
Dion Aiye, 35, of Queen Street, is due to appear at Workington Magistrates Court on November 18.
It is understood it relates to an incident in May. At the time, he was suspended from the club pending further investigation.
